Types of Slits
Below is a list of the business card, CD/DVD, flash drive, brochure, and key card slits we offer. Be aware that not every type of die-cut slit comes standard with certain products. Please check the appropriate product page to see if it comes standard with a particular type of slit. If you like, you can also design your own custom-made slit.

Slit Locations
Depending on the product and slit you select, slits can potentially be placed on any your product’s pockets or flaps. Die cut slits should be placed at least one inch away from the edge of your product. We strongly recommend placing slits at least 1/4 of an inch away from each other.
Pocket Slits
Possible slit locations include your product’s left pocket, center pocket, or right pocket. Certain products (such as matchbook-style folders) might only include a single pocket that can accommodate slits. You can also choose the precise location of the slit within the pocket’s area.
Flap
Some products (such as portfolio envelopes) include flaps that can accommodate media slits. You can also choose precise location of the slit within the flap’s area.
