Company Folders is proud to announce our 10th anniversary! Don’t worry, you don’t have to get us a present.
In fact, to celebrate our tenth year in business, our gift to you is a 10% site-wide discount plus free shipping on all orders placed before 6 PM EST on December 6, 2013.
For those of you who have worked with us over the years, we decided to take a trip down memory lane and chart the evolution of Company Folders from our humble beginnings to exciting recent developments.
December 1, 2003 | Opened for business, launched our first website
Our pioneer website was a good first effort, but it looks awfully dated by today’s standards, doesn’t it? Every journey begins with a single step and we were excited to take this one, even if there was plenty of room left for improvement.
Janurary 2, 2007 | Redesigned website
Our second website added a splash of color and emphasized our commitment to staying eco-friendly. We were proud of our standout visual scheme and new interface, but it still felt like something was somehow missing.
February 20, 2008 | Launched new green products
We think we look rather good in green, so we went even greener by releasing several new eco-friendly folders and binders, each made from 100% recycled materials. You’re welcome, trees!
June 9, 2008 | Relocated to Keego Harbor, MI
Our new digs gave us more space in which to work and grow. It also didn’t hurt being closer to a few of our favorite restaurants.
June 24, 2010 | Created new sample packet design
Who doesn’t love a free sample? Since sending a requested sample is often the first direct contact we have with a new client, we definitely wanted a sample packet design that made a big impression. Again, this was a solid effort with room to improve.
November 24, 2010 | Further redesigned website
Time for another makeover! This version of our website kept the green-and-orange color scheme but used a more user-friendly interface and better functionality.
April 25, 2012 | Launched CF blog
Knowledge is power, and our motto is “power to the people.” The release of the Company Folders blog allowed us to share our print design expertise with graphic artists across the globe.
August 16. 2012 | Updated website with new branding and interface
Our current site design! We gave ourselves a fresh new look and our most intuitive interface to date. We’re sure that our customers like it too, because they no longer have to call us to locate the right product or product options.
November 12, 2012 | Redesigned sample packet
Modern times call for a modern design. To coincide with our new website, we created a new sample packet design to match. We’re big fans of our new tagline, “We know folders,” since that is most of what we do, after all. 🙂
May 20, 2013 | Launched Folder Design Gallery
The Folder Design Gallery is one of our proudest recent achievements. It’s a chance for graphic artists to show off their best folder designs and gain greater industry exposure.
July 8, 2013 | Made Internet Retailer’s Second 500
The Second 500 lists the most successful e-commerce retailers in the country. Far be it from us to toot our own horn, but this is a prestigious achievement we just can’t help but show off.
September 23, 2013 | Launched folder design templates
We know that creating a design can be rough, especially when you’re in need of an idea or even just a basic structure. We decided to help cure the pandemic of artists’ block with inspirational design templates that make the lives of graphic designers that much easier.
November 25, 2013 | Launched die cut folder templates
Die cut templates act as a uniquely shaped canvas for print designers creating collateral. We decided to bring our vast collection of templates together in one easy location.
It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come in the last decade, but we couldn’t have done it without our talented employees and, of course, our loyal customers. We’re looking forward to another great ten years and beyond as we continue to grow into a powerful resource for your business, providing you with the very highest quality marketing collateral.
