If you intend to mail out photos to clients, then pair your folders with a custom portfolio envelope.
Aqueous coating comes in a variety of styles. Glossy looks shiny and feels smooth, matte is also smooth but without the shine, satin has a velvety texture and soft-touch feels like suede.
For an extra degree of luster, try ultraviolet (UV) coating. Although it doesn't offer as much protection as laminate, it has a unique shiny effect.
Laminate coating is the strongest and offers protection against wear and tear, staining and weathering.
