About Design
The Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources and Environment provides specialized degrees in the study of sustainability, resource management and environmental science. The program’s presentation folder features a green textured background as well as a full color photo of a verdant forest. These visual elements provide cues to the audience about the school’s focus on ecological issues.
The clever use of green in the school’s mission statement turns the phrase “experience sustainability” into “experience us”– which allows it to work as both a statement and as a call-to-action. The custom printed pockets continue the textural design from the front cover, as well as provide vital contact information for potential students.
