Information about the company's history and service fill the panels inside. A bold red pocket is in the center with the message "We manage your cleaning needs, so you don’t have to," in white at the bottom. Ten reasons why customers should choose this company are on the back, along with Capital's website.

Precision Cutting Specialties combines its brand colors with a glimpse of its machining process on this gatefold cover. Sparks flying match the logo's shape and add a dramatic sense of action. The combination of metal, fire, and patriotic colors implies pride and danger.

Inside, a blue colorized photo spans all three panels. The sparks still create a sense of action, but the cooler color lets the eye rest from the more intense cover photo. The back cover showcases one of the company's machines and provides contact information.

This design is printed to look exactly like one of the large metal containers that CAVE Systems provides to the U.S. military. The bars and latches on both sides of the gatefold cover create the feeling of unlocking a storage unit.

The illusion continues on the center panel, which looks like the inside of a storage container. 3D effects make it seem as if recipients can walk right into the folder. Both flaps provide brand information and product photos.

Gatefold covers swing open like The Grand Summit Hotel's main doors to reveal a luxurious spa and lobby. The New Jersey hotel showcases its banquet hall, a popular wedding venue, on the inner panels. A tan stripe inscribed with brand information separates the images, fashioning them into a sophisticated collage. The back cover provides an unbroken view of the same scene shown on the gatefold covers.

With a wood grain background, this design for Direct 2 You looks like beveled cabinet doors, a great companion to the gatefold cover that opens from the middle. A 3D shadow effect makes the dart on the right side appear to stick out of the design. Its sharpness and flight path imply the "direct" part of the marketing firm's name.

The interior flaps explain the marketing techniques represented in the central pie chart. The red pocket and graphic create a sense of urgency; the red darts on the left are sheathed, implying that it's the customer's turn to pull out one of Direct 2 You's marketing techniques and try it for themselves.

YesPac's red and black cover design projects a sense of industry, simplicity, and edginess. The gatefold opening creates a more interactive experience for users than a standard folder, as audiences choose whether to open one or both panels.

A step-by-step diagram on the inner right panel walks clients through YesPac's process, from the initial point of contact all the way to delivery, so they can see exactly how the company works. The unglued center pocket allows easy access to the documents inside.

Park Day School promotes its progressive K-8 education programs with this clever design. A black background uses repeating keys to lead viewers to the center. There, an orange key spans both sides of the gatefold cover to make recipients feel as if they're actually unlocking the design when they open it.

The left and right flaps become info panels telling recipients all about Park Day. The center pocket carries over the color branding, bringing excitement and energy to the inside of the design. Unglued on both sides, the pocket flips down for easy access to its contents.

Kelly Community Federal Credit Union combines colors and photos to emphasize its local and federal identity. The cover photo depicts a white marquee billboard on a red brick wall, a common sight at old theaters in many small towns. A collage on the back cover shows off some of the impressive architecture in the East Texas towns where the company operates.

The navy blue background and interior pocket help establish a sense of trust and security; paired with the red in the brand's logo and the white in the photo, they create a patriotic color palette.

The Holiday Home Camp located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, marries its past to its present with this gatefold design. The left half shows a playful photo of a counselor and a camper, with a colorful vector illustration to set a youthful, modern tone. A strong serif font spells "Now," while a handwritten script scrawls "as then" on the right side. The camp's logo and an old black and white photo celebrate Lake Geneva's 125 year history.

The interior bridges these two concepts by mixing historical and modern day photos, along with information about the camp’s history and its present day mission. To balance out the photographs and text boxes, the interior pocket is printed with a forest pattern like those on the front and back covers.

Remi Roberts, CPA, chose untraditional colors for her field. Her presentation folder features only her name in a Metallic Copper foil stamp in the center of the cover. The foil stamp adds shine to the design and a smooth texture on the Hot Fudge Linen stock. A script-like font adds elegance to the design.

Tiffany & Co. plays on its well-known color branding with this presentation folder targeting Chinese clients. Two Chinese lanterns in the jewelry company's classic trademarked blue appear on the cover along with the phrase "Selling the power of blue."

Information regarding Chinese culture and holidays is inside. The back contrasts with the cover using a dark blue with the company name on the bottom in black.
